To build a Recovery-Ready Community, there are four main areas of focus: Access to treatment, Educational Opportunities, Secure and Quality housing, and Employment opportunities. Through the building of the Center for Wabanaki Healing & Recovery, the Healing House in Millinocket, and the Opportunity House in Bangor, WPHW has created the pathway for our communities to be Recovery-Ready.
The goal of our workforce recovery program is to help those in recovery to meaningfully re-enter the workforce, to provide community, and to ensure that those who are on the recovery journey have a way to support themselves and family.
We currently have two navigators who can help individuals with employment related resources:
